PD Dr. habil. Claude-Hélène Mayer, Phd Rhodes University

works at the IIPK as systemic consultant and systemic (family) therapist (SG), mediator and trainer for mediation (BM). She is also trained in systemic constellation work and a trained hypnotherapist (TMI). She is specialized in conflict management, mediation and systemic consultancy across cultures. As intercultural trainer and consultant, she operates in international business organizations as well as in social and educational institutions in Europe and Southern Africa. She is the author of several books and visual training media. Claude-Hélène lectures at various universities in Europe and Southern Africa. Her research focus is on transcultural conflict management, manager identity, health management and salutogenesis in international organizations and gender/women and leadership. Her region-specific expertise relates mostly to Southern Africa, where she has worked and lived for several years.
